Jilland Rail Division provides a full in-house service to the rail industry from design through to commissioning. We employ over 200 dedicated skilled technicians, craftsmen and operatives, many from recognised rail backgrounds who are all trained to safety critical standards.

Safety
With a dedicated HSE department under the direct management of the Group HSE Manager, all aspects of rail safety are addressed, during tender formulation through to project completion, by a system of safety plans and risk assessments applied and audited under a strict regime of regular site assessment.

The distinct culture within this sector has highlighted the need for a more secure transfer of safety knowledge, which we have addressed by the application of internal safety awareness training for all personnel together with a greater emphasis on areas of employee/employer communication.
